OBITUARY
Adam Vincent Jablonowski 58 of Wappingers Falls, NY died at Sapphire Nursing Home on 1/13/25. Adam was born in Western New York. He was adopted by Ralph and Jean Sheehan from the Astor Home in Rhinebeck, NY when he was 8 years old. He grew up in Hughsonville, NY with his siblings where he attended Wappingers Fall schools. Adam worked part time at the Dairy Mart in Hughsonville and loved filling the coolers and talking with neighbors and friends. In ~2010 he moved to Berkeley Square apartments in Wappingers Falls with his father Ralph Sheehan. They lived there for 10 awesome years and made many friends. Adam loved animals and his favorite was his cat Spookie. He was a faithful fan of the NY Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. Adam loved sharing his wonderful memories about growing up in Hughsonville over a cup of coffee with friends and family. Adam was gentle, kind, and a great brother, son, and friend. Adam was predeceased by his mother Jean Sheehan, his brother Ralph M. Sheehan, and his father Ralph E. Sheehan. Adam is survived by his sisters Karen Kennedy who was his primary caretaker, Eileen Menconeri (Raymond) who faithfully visited him and made him and his friends laugh, Jeanie Jones (Terry), and his brother Michael Sheehan (Nadine). He has several nieces, nephews, and cousins that cared about him. His funeral wake service will be Sunday 1/19/25 from 5-7pm at Delehanty Funeral Home. We are truly grateful for the outstanding care he received at the Sapphire Nursing Home, and for our sister Karen for taking such good care of him.
