His wife, Renee, was by his side since they first met in high school and throughout their loving 68 years of marriage. Tony loved hunting, fishing, gambling, cooking and baking. He loved visiting his grandchildren and traveling.
Tony was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law. He took care of his family and gave great advice. On every phone conversation he always told us what he was cooking or baking and took great pride in making his homemade bread and cinnamon cakes. He bought the most heartwarming cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings.

His absence will be felt year-round, but especially during the family's regular large gatherings which will be bereft of his baked goods, stories, jokes, and poker table presence.

Reene, Mark,Kari and family I was sadden to find out about the passing of Tony {Jr.} I remember him growing up he was larger than life to me he had the greatest smile, sense of humor and a great love of life. I know he will be missed by all but remember he is always with you just look into your heart and remember all the wonderful times you shared with him. He will never be far away . Remember love never dies it is always with you just look inside yourself and you will feel the warmth of a hug or a kiss. Again I am sorry for you loss. My prayers are withe you Patti {Sidote} & Ri…
I cherish fond memories of your parents sharing their family home throughout my childhood. I can honestly say I grew up on Italian food. I am grateful Kari and I were allowed to be best friends playing together almost every day. Tony's sense of humor was passed down into our way of thinking and the games we created. I am grateful for the care from your parents. Their bond of love is a wonderful example to witness. Kari and Mark, The Schatzle family is honored to know your father and mother. We celebrate their lives.
Kari and Family, Our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Love Debbie and Paul Slaninka
