OBITUARY

Anthony (Tony) W. Paonessa 55, a life long Village of Wappingers Falls resident, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.

Anthony was born January 18, 1968 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was the son of Thomas Paonessa and the late Edith (Dimarco) Paonessa. He was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School. Anthony worked as a laborer most of his life. He was most recently employed by Deleno Bros Paving & Excavating.

Anthony enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the NY Giants. Anthony touched many lives and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother Thomas and his wife Christina, sisters Lisa and her husband Thomas Marcojohn, Renee, Mary & Jason Enson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews Tommy, Samantha, Hayley, Giancarlo, Vanessa & Jason Jr. Anthony was predeceased by his mother and niece Gianna Victoria Paonessa.

Visitation will be held on Sunday the 19th of February from 2-6 at Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A mass will be held on Monday the 20th of February at 10am at St. Mary's Church, Clinton St, Wappingers Falls. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
