Barbara May Ferro January 22, 1943 - January 22, 2025

Barbara May Ferro of Poughkeepsie, New York, passed away on her birthday, January 22 at the age of 82.

Barbara was born in Manhattan in 1943 to Frederick and Margaret Reese and grew up in Washington Heights. She worked as a waitress at Ricky’s Clam House for 30 years where she brought the most excellent service to her customers in order to make sure they had an amazing experience and was even featured once in Entertainment magazine.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, sister, Ann, and her brothers Frederick, Daniel and Richard and survived by her son, Garry.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. The love that she gave will be cherished forever and her one-of-a-kind sense of humor will echo in our hearts and minds.

Visitation will be held at Delahanty Funeral Home, 64 Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York on Sunday, January 26 from 12 pm - 4 pm.
