OBITUARY:

Christine Ann Blake, a longtime Wappingers Falls resident, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at The Hospice House in Hyde Park, NY with her daughter by her side, after a brief courageous fight with cancer. She was born on March 28, 1954, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of Jerry and Blenda Ranalli of Wappingers Falls, NY; she was predeceased by both of her parents, as well as her brother, David Ranalli of Wappingers Falls.

Christine was a 1972 graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, NY. On August 30th, 1975, she married her love, Ron Blake, who predeceased her in March 2024. Christine previously worked at Central Hudson Gas and Electric Company, and at Wappingers Junior High School until her retirement.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Alvarez and her granddaughter, Izabella Alvarez of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Her family would like to thank the dedicated staff at The Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided to Christine during this difficult time. There will be no services keeping with her wishes. She will be laid to rest along with her husband in the mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
