OBITUARY
Concetta S. Olivieri, 81, a long-time resident of Wappingers Falls has entered into rest on Monday, January 2, 2023. Affectionately known as Tina and born on September 5, 1941 in the Bronx, NY. She was the daughter of the late Luigi Romasco and Marie DiNapoli and is survived by her siblings, Paul Romasco of Florida and Rita Caswell of Pleasant Valley.
A devoted wife and loving mother of 5 children, Tina had always ensured her family came first but was also a resourceful and purposeful woman with natural business savvy with which she pursued various career paths over the years that have ranged from retail and banking to owning a small delicatessen / grocery store then finally as a property owner/ lessor within the same community she resided.
Tina’s sociable nature and quick wit made all who knew her feel comforted and amused. She was and shall forever be remembered as a kind hearted, friendly, highly respected member of the community. Generous with everyone she met. Loved by those who knew her best. She enjoyed to travel be it abroad or on a simple day trip although spending time with her family and friends was by far her favorite thing to do and it is they who are heartbroken with the loss of such an influential person.
She had overcome many obstacles over the years and had taken them in stride but none more difficult than being predeceased by her 3 eldest children, Maria L. Scherer 2-17-2017, Gina N. Olivieri 2-13-2021 and David E. Olivieri 10-6-2021. She is survived by her loving husband Ernesto A. Olivieri who resides at home, her two remaining daughters, Lisa A. Olivieri, Erica L.
