OBITUARY:

Loving wife and mother, Concetta Fiorito, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, New York, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at age 95. She was born in Manhattan, New York, on October 27, 1930, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Santa (nee Scaleo) Russo. Concetta is survived by her two daughters, Janet and Linda, her four grandchildren: Joseph, Gina, Anthony, and Marina Defalco, and her three great-grandchildren: Tony, Sonny, and Lola. She is also survived by two sisters, Ann and Vinny. Along with her beloved parents, Concetta was predeceased by her husband John Fiorito, her three sisters, and one brother. Concetta will always be remembered in our hearts as a person who could end a sentence with the lyrics of a song. If you were in conversation with her, she would break out in song about the topic you were both discussing. Her beautiful voice would turn ordinary moments into musical ones. She carries a song for every feeling as she sprinkles light into her loved ones days. She walked through life knowing her worth, and she proved it in everything she did. She understood her family in ways words can't explain, and her home reflected the gentleness, patience, and love she poured into it. The moments shared with her will be held gently in our hearts, treasured for their warmth and their wisdom. She will live on in our thoughts, in our memories, and in every lesson she left behind-echoes of her guidance that will keep lighting our path. Her family and friends will gather privately to Remember, Honor, and Celebrate her Life. Interment will be private at the discretion of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York.
