OBITUARY
Crocifissa G. Mucci, 94, of Wappingers Falls, has entered into rest on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the home of her daughter Mary A. Mucci. She was born in Calatafimi Segesta Sicily Italy on July 28, 1928, the daughter of Diego Giangrasso and Franca Giangrasso. On November 21, 1964, she married Samuel P. Mucci, who died on March 19, 1984. Crocifissa was a warm, compassionate person with a kind heart and truly cared about her family and friends, always remembering birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her two children, making sure they had everything and were happy. Crocifissa will truly be missed by all that knew her. Surviving is her son, Joseph D. Mucci of Wappingers Falls and her daughter, Mary A. Mucci of Gardiner. Her brothers Peter Giangrasso (Lia Giangrasso -passed), Guiseppe and Joyce Giangrasso, Josephine Barone (Frank Barone – passed), Vita and David Mesnick and many nieces and nephews who she greatly loved. Many thanks go to Dr. Edward Schneider, The Heart Center, and Hospice for taking wonderful care of her. She appreciated and loved you all.
Family and friends may visit at the Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Thursday January 26, 2023, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Wappingers Falls, New York with burial services following at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
