OBITUARY
Diana Rivera, 66, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.
She was born on January 15, 1957 in the Bronx, NY, to the late Felix and Felicita Rivera. Diana was predeceased by her brother Felix Rivera Jr.
In 1980, Diana met the love of her life Jesus (Manny) Pabon and they began their beautiful life journey together.
A graduate of the Art and Design High school, Diana had the dream of becoming an interior decorator. Instead, she worked 20 years in the hospitality industry, sharing her infectious smile with all of her guests.
Diana will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, dog mom, aunt, cousin, and friend. Diana also spent many years as a foster mother, giving children a warm and loving home. She was a selfless, fiercely passionate woman who dedicated and sacrificed her life to her family, to say the least.
Diana is survived by her husband Jesus Pabon, daughter Jenelle Gonzalez, sons Jonathan and Joel Pabon, sisters Mildred Carradero and Norma Portella. Grandchildren Jetta-Marie Perez, Jaelynn and Jayla Duarte, Jaiden Pabon, Joel Pabon Jr, Amiah Pabon, Jonathan Pabon Jr. Great grandchildren Isabella and Ariella Marroquin, nieces and nephew, and countless cousins.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY. A prayer service will be offered that evening, time pending. Cremation is private.
