OBITUARY

Gloria Alba Bedoya, a recent resident of Wappingers Falls, formerly of Oakland Gardens, Queens, NY; passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY; at the age of 76. She was born in Medellin, Colombia, daughter of the late Ernesto & Myriam (Gomez) Bedoya. She immigrated to the United States on November 30, 1965

Gloria worked with various agencies from Harlem, the Bronx and later Dutchess County, NY; until she retired.

Gloria is survived by her three sons: Mario  Orlando Gonzalez, Jahn P. Gonzalez and Jason Daniel Gonzalez. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Orlando Bedoya and his wife  Gloria Ceballos; her niece Pilar Bedoya.

Her Family will gather with Friends on Tuesday, October 21^st from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, followed by a procession to St. Mary’s Church 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30PM. Interment will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date, at the convenience of her family.
