OBITUARY James J. Doyle of Wappingers Falls, NY was born May 6, 1937 in Jamaica, NY. He was the son of James and Mary (Donahue) Doyle, who predeceased him.
Jim was a computer programmer at IBM for 37 years, retiring in 1996. On April 4, 1964, he married Patricia Skelly Doyle who survives him at home. Other survivors include his cherished granddaughter Monica Joanne Jones, of Raleigh, NC, who was the joy of his life. Also, his daughter, Kathleen Doyle Jones (Donald) of Cary, NC, and his two brothers, Thomas D. Doyle of Cobbs Creek, VA, and Daniel Doyle (Mary) of Muncy, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Private services were held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St. Mary’s Church, Wappingers Falls, NY. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

All fond memories. We played poker after golf on Tuesdays. He won more than one hand from me. Also, everyone wanted to be on his golf team. He was on the winning team three times in a row! I'm very sorry for your loss.

Have many fond memory's playing golf with Jimmy "D" in the RC Tuesday league and poker afterwards....... The backwards ride down #12 at Dinsmore with Jim at the wheel is and will always be a memory when I play that hole. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Jerry Gilnack
