OBITUARY
Jane E. Bell , 91, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on February 18, 1931 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Mary Kushner.
She was the Valedictorian of her high school class. After graduation she moved to New York City and attended the Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing where she received a bachelors degree. She was a registered nurse.
On June 11, 1955 she married William Bell in Peekskill, New York. She worked for many years at Central Dutchess Nursing Home in Wappinger's Falls New York. Jane enjoyed watching sports of all kinds and was a longtime fan of the New York Football Giants.
She is survived by her brother Robert Kushner of Conemaugh, Pennsylvania and sister Donna (Bernard) Austin of Flower Mound, Texas, son William Bell of Oak Hill, Virginia, daughter Jane ( Erich ) Schanzenbach of Dover Plains, New York, daughter Christine Myers of Burlington, North Carolina, son David Bell of Fishkill, New York, daughter Kathleen Bell of Fishkill, New York, grandchildren Robert Schanzenbach, Jenna (Nick) Hahn, Jordan Bell, Colleen (Nicholas) Smyth, Samantha Bell, Taylor Bell and Jonathan Schanzenbach, and two great grandsons Henry and Warren.
