OBITUARY:

Joan B. Collins, born February 7, 1939, in Hackensack, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2026.

Joan was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Collins; her mother, Jennie Collins; and her sister, Mary Ficken.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen L. Dennis; her son-in-law, Hassan J. Dennis Sr.; and her five grandchildren, Aaron Dennis, Janay Dennis, Hassan Dennis II, Jamal Dennis, and Janelle Dennis. She also leaves behind seven beloved great-grandchildren: Hassan Dennis III, Lyla Dennis, Catarina Dennis, Lincoln Dennis, Oliver Dennis, Mason Dennis, and Jahlani Cutler.

Joan enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing Lucky 7 scratch-off tickets, and watching wrestling. Her memory will live on through the family she loved and the many lives she touched.

She will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. Her Family will gather privately for a Celebration of Life at a late date.
