OBITUARY
John Stuart Kotchie III (Stu) passed away in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 19, 2021, after a brief illness. He was 64 years old.
Stu was born on November 28, 1956 in Bethesda, Marylandto John Kotchie Jr, and Joan (Stanley) Kotchie, who predeceased him. On January 3, 1976, he married Kathleen Kelleher, the love of his life, who survives him after 45 years of marriage. Stu is also survived by his children Kristine Orsino (Matthew) and John Kotchie, and grandchildren Joshua and Ryan Orsino. He is also survived by his siblings William (Bill) and Karen, their families, and brother-in-law Robert Kelleher.
Stu was co-owner of A-1 Lawnmower in Wappingers Falls from 1980 until his death. He was a lifetime member of East Hook Sportsman Association. In his free time, Stu enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, golf, and snowbirding in Florida with the ‘Swensonites of Florida’.
Calling hours will be held at Delehanty Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 2PM-4PM.
