OBITUARY
Linda M. Zakrewski, a resident of Fishkill, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday November 7th 2021. She was 73. Daughter of the late John and Katherine Lehrer, she was born on May 4, 1948 in Manhattan. On September 1, 1968 she married David J. Zakrewski at St. Denis church in Hopewell Jct. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda earned her LPN degree in 1971. After having her children, she stayed at home to raise them. Later on, she worked in the deli at Grand Union and Stop & Shop until retiring in 2018. She is survived by her children, Melissa Young and her husband, Richard, and David Zakrewski and his wife, Donna, as well as her loving grandchildren: Matthew, John, Daniel, Dyani, Al ; and her loving sister Carol Kenney, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially going to her grandchildren's events. She was predeceased by her husband David Zakrewski and her sister Geri Lucente. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
