OBITUARY
Louis James Benedetto Jr, of Wappingers Falls, NY, age 82, died peacefully on March 27th, 2024, at Vassar Brothers Hospital. Louis was born on September 10th, 1941 in Wappingers Falls, NY, to parents Louis and Mary Benedetto. He graduated from Wappingers High Sccool in 1960 and attended Krissler’s Business school. Louis married Alice Swan on June 16, 1963 at St Mary’s Church, in Wappingers Falls. He was test specialist for IBM. Later in life Louis was the proud owner of “The Arena” located in Wappingers Falls for 13 years. Louis was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in Wappingers Falls and an active member of the Quarter Century Club. He was an avid fan of the NY Giants. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving family man who would do anything for you. Louis is survived by his wife, Alice Benedetto; his children, Debra McGrath, Beth Forster (Scott Lloyd), Louis Benedetto (Amy), Steven Benedetto; and his 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his 2 dogs Princess and Archie. He is preceded in death by his parents; Louis Mary Benedetto, his brother Robert Benedetto. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29 4pm – 8pm, at Delehanty Funeral Home. 64 East Main St. Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

I remember Louie growing up in the village, he was always so kind and soft spoken. He served my guest at my wedding as a favor to my older brother . Alice my deepest condolences to you and your family. He is smiling in heaven now as he always did here with you.
