OBITUARY
Margaret McKay, 85, passed away at home on October 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 29, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Margaret Ann Emmert and John Charles Jencik.
Margaret was a homemaker for many years. Once her children were all in school, she worked as a Special Education Teachers Aide in the Wappingers Central School District. She later worked as an Executive Assistant for an insurance agency, retiring in 2000.
She is preceded by her husband of 45 years, Eugene L. McKay.
Margaret is survived by her son Gene and daughter in law Paige McKay of LaGrange NY, son Paul McKay of Wappingers Falls NY, and daughter Loretta Usher of Wappingers Falls NY, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Evan McKay and Jackson and Jonah Usher. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces and lifelong family friends.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Margie. I know how hard it is. Still, one of my best memories was at Steve & Sue's wedding when she came by the table to introduce Loretta and I to each other. Made me laugh. I guess she figured it had been a while and we didn't recognize each other? Still, a good memory. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Aunt Margie's passing. She was a sweet lady with a great laugh. She and I shared a birthday month mine being on the 30th and she always remembered me. My deepest sympathies.
So sorry, your mom was a great friend to my mom the two of them are going to be reunited in heaven .I'm so happy I got to see her before I left on my trip .I'll miss her laugh and smile .rip Margie
