Martha A. Delio

1960 - 2026

OBITUARY:

Martha A. Delio, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026 surrounded by her family; at the age of 65. She was born on July 15, 1960, daughter of Nicholas and Ann Rose (Imbroto) Spero.

Martha worked for 20 years for Du Pont Photomasks in Danbury, CT; as a clean room operator, until she retired. Early on she worked as a pharmacist assistant at Hopewell Pharmacy in Hopewell Junction, NY and the Community Care Pharmacy in Fishkill, NY.

Martha had a love for the sun and sand; she enjoyed laying out at the pools and the Florida beaches. She was an avid NY Mets fan. She also enjoyed 1980s music, and dancing her head off to ‘Mambo No. 5’ and other classics with her family & friends. Martha loved her family dearly, especially her nieces and nephews.

Martha is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 14-years, Robert Delio; her brother Anthony Spero and his wife Rhonda; her brothers-in-law, David Delio and his wife Christine) and Raymond Delio; her sister-in-law Victoria Benn and her husband Rich. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews all whom she loved dearly: Amanda (Jason) Berube, Melissa Spero (Tory Delmonico), Jacqueline Delio, Emily Delio, Eric Benn, Matthew Benn and Adam Benn.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. Her Family will gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family wished for memorial donations to be made in Martha’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown MD 21741.
