OBITUARY:

Michael P. Mulvenna, a resident of Beacon, NY for over 15-years and formerly of New York City, passed away on March 4, 2026 at the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY; at the age of 71. He was born in Manhattan, NY on November 11, 1954, son of the late Alexander & Ann (Flanagan) Mulvenna.



Michael served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1978, and received an honorable discharge of service.



Mike worked in maintenance for Metro-North Railroad in New York, NY, for over 12-years. Prior he worked as a laborer for the Royal Carting Sanitation in Fishkill.


Mike enjoyed nature, feeding and watching the birds especially the pigeons; he enjoyed sports like basketball and football. He also enjoyed music and dancing, particularly he was a huge Mo-Town fan.


Mike was a faithful member of the local Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous support groups in the Beacon-area.


Michael is survived by a son, Simon Korby; his two sisters and three brothers: Jack (Julie) Mulvenna, Bridget (Jozef) Mulvenna, Kevin (Terry) Mulvenna, Alexander (Karen) Mulvenna and Bernadette (Gina) Mulvenna. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends.


His Family will gather with Friends on Saturday, March 14th from 1-4PM at DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, where a Prayer Service will be offered. Interment with Military Honors from the United States Air Force will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, March 16, 2026 in the Veterans Section at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, New York.
