OBITUARY

Paula DeMarco, of Rhinebeck, NY, passed on Tuesday, October 26th, peacefully, with her loving husband and children at her side.

Paula and Chuck DeMarco, of the Village of Wappingers Falls, NY, married in 1983 and have two incredible children, Bryan, of Rhinebeck; and Kelly, of Brooklyn, NY.

Paula is the daughter of Mark and Anna Delaney, of Hughsonville, NY. Her dad, Mark, grew up in Schenectady, NY; her mom, Anna Fariello, was born in NYC and settled in the Village of Wappingers Falls when she was very young. They raised four other awesome children: Mary Ellen, of Bethany, CT and her husband Mark Unger and their two children, Harry and Lewis; Mark, of New Hamburg, NY and his wife Dena and their three children Julia, Chris, and David; Debbie and Joe Tavarez, of Newburgh, NY and their two children Jessica and Nicole; and Greg and his wife Rebecca of Lithia, FL.

Paula was employed at Rhinebeck High School as a teacher’s aide since 1993. She loved her job and was loved by the kids she interacted with throughout her career. She had just retired in June of this year.

Paula was an incredible mother and wife, who put love, life, and laughter into everything she did. She had a special gift which touched the hearts of her dear friends, and everyone that got to know her.

Holidays were made special by Paula, always done up and huge family gatherings to celebrate them. She loved her unique, thrifty shopping skills, and her special place to be was always by the ocean; beachside, with the sand between her toes and catching the morning sunrise.

On Paula’s request, it will be a private family service. To her many, many dear friends, there will be a day we all gather to celebrate Paula, when the date is confirmed, we will let you know.

Paula will always have a special place in so many hearts. Love is forever.
