OBITUARY:

Robert J. Juliano, a longtime Village of Wappingers Falls resident, recently of New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2025, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, with his wife and children by his side, at the age of 72. He was born in The Bronx, NY, on October 5, 1953, son of the late Joseph Juliano and Antoinette (Paciullo) Demartine.


Robert proudly served in the Army division of the military from 1972 through 1976

Robert was a successful businessman, building his home heating fuel oil business, Juliano Fuel Oil Co., from the ground up with his then-wife, Daryl Juliano, in the late 1970s, and later closing it upon his retirement in 2003. He also became involved politically in the Village of Wappingers Falls, serving as a past Deputy Mayor and in various other capacities.


He was an avid pilot, renowned in the Aviation Community for countless hours, he spent in the sky. Bob held his ATP and CFII certifications; he took great pride instructing others in the art of flying. He enjoyed his life as a pilot immensely. 


Robert is survived by his wife, Terri Ann Zeno-Juliano, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years. He is also survived by his three children, Christopher (Renee) Juliano, Samantha (Michael) Starego, and Robert Juliano; his former wife, Daryl Juliano; and his four grandchildren, whom he adored and cherished: Amelia, Ashlyn, Noah, and Cassie, along with his two step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Katelyn. In addition, he is survived by his four brothers, Joseph (Kathy) Juliano, Jay (Sandy) Juliano, Paul Juliano, and Maurice (Jing) Demartine, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many of  his very BELOVED friends.


His Family will receive Friends on Thursday, November 20thfrom 3-7PM at DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30AM, Friday, November 21st at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, followed by entombment at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie, NY. My pilot friend Kenny knew Bob and one day ... at the DC airport, after returning from a scenic flight with Kenny ... Bob was getting ready to go up in the air and took me for a most pleasurable ride
