OBITUARY

Rosa María Donaire, age 80, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025. Born in Honduras and later a resident of Newburgh, Rosa was a woman of deep faith, kindness, and strength.

She was known for her warm smile, her Bible always by her side, and her favorite blessing — “God bless you.” Rosa lived with gratitude and independence, always finding a way to help others and share God’s love wherever she went.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Scarlett Bonito and Belma Galvez; her grandchildren, Yesmin Galvez, Cristina Galvez, Usiel Reyes, and Alicia Reyes; and her great-grandchildren, Juan, Diego, Aurora, Annaya, Valeria, Violeta, Gracie, and Zuri.

Rosa’s faith, compassion, and joyful spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. Her Family will gather to honor Her Faith with a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 28th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11 Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls, followed by a private cremation. Interment in the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Gardiner at later date, per the discretion of Her Family.
