OBITUARY
Saturnina Perez passed away in Oyster Bay, NY on May 09, 2021, after a well-fought battle against heart related illness. She was 68 years old.
Saturnina was born on February 16, 1952 to Marcelina Perez and Antonio Ramos in Chiquimula, Guatemala. She married Telmo Monroy, the love of her life who passed away in April 2001.
Saturnina lived in the town of Quetzaltepeque in Guatemala. She was a homemaker who loved her family. Saturnina was very religious and active as a member of the Catholic church in her town. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her 4 children: Fredy, Rudy, Sara and Dalila, their spouses Yamilet, Branka and Byron, grandsons Jason and Andre, her 3 brothers and the rest of her large family.
Saturnina was all about family, very lovely and warm hearted, so caring and kind. She loved to cook and share her delicious food and baked goodies with her loved ones. Saturnina found comfort and peace by reading her Bible, she was also a very talented tailor and a big animal lover too. She enjoyed traveling to the United States to spend time with her 2 sons Rudy and Fredy, gatherings with family members and rides/road trips to admire beautiful nature and gorgeous views NY state has to offer.
Calling hours will be held at Delehanty Funeral Home on May 17, 2021 from 2-3pm, for immediate family members only.
