OBITUARY
Stephen J. Seaman III passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2022. He was 72 years old.
Steve was born on September 9, 1949 to Steven J. and Geraldine Seaman in Poughkeepsie, NY. On October 17, 1970, he married Ellen Schreiner the love of his life.
His wife, Ellen, was by his side since their first date in 1970 and throughout their loving 51 years of marriage. Steve loved anything to do with automobiles, a true motor head. He also enjoyed traveling and camping, but most of all spending time with his family and cherished friends. He owned Seamans Auto Clinic in Wappingers.
Steve and Ellen lovingly raised their 3 children in Wappingers, NY. Dad will be dearly missed by his children, Matthew (Rachael) Seaman, Brady Seaman, and Holly (Simon) Masciola; and his grandchildren Morgan (Patrick), Fiona, Ryan, Lilly, Riley, James, Matthew, Chase, Erin, and Troy; and great-grandchild Evelyn.
Steve is survived by Ellen and predeceased by his parents and his son Brady Seaman.
Steve will also be deeply missed by his 1 beloved brother, James L. Sedore (Diane), and the rest of his large extended family. His absence will be felt year-round, but especially during the family's regular large gatherings which will be bereft of his STORIES, jokes and warm presence.
Calling hours will be at Delehanty Funeral Home on Sunday, February 27 from 3-7 PM, and a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Fishkill on Monday, February 28 at 10:15 AM.
