OBITUARY
Teresa Novick went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Teresa was born on February 24, 1944 to devoted parents Francesco and Giovannia Lapaglia in Villa Priolo, Sicily. She traveled to America at the age of 6 with her parents and 8 siblings for a better life. Teresa attended beauty school in NY where she became a licensed hairstylist. She would go on to marry Martin Novick Sr and with her unconditional love created a wonderful family starting with her four beloved children. Teresa was an incredible woman with many talents from crocheting to creating beautiful flower arrangements. She brought so much joy to everyone around her, especially through her gift of cooking. Teresa had strong faith and love of the Lord for which she used to create a beautiful life and protect her family. She is predeceased by her parents and sister, Rosie. She is survived by Martin Novick Sr and her four children Marty(Debbie), Michael(Brenda), Jennifer(Lee), and Frankie(Kayla). Her adored grandchildren Alyssa(Josh) Stephanie(Sam), Brooke(Steve), Nina(Matt), Kristen(Zach), Courtney, Lee Jay, and Michael Jr. Along with her great grand babies Ravenna, Ethan, Adalyn, Easton, Lydia, and Colton. She is also survived by 7 of her siblings and countless nieces and nephews. Teresa will be dearly missed but always remembered for her strength and love of her family.

Marty - I am very sorry to learn that your mother has passed away. I'd like to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family.
I have so many memories of Teresa from childhood and beyond that I hold dear. Each and every one has to do with how she made me feel. No matter how much time passed, she showed genuine interest in my life. She was patient, doting and talented. I admired her.

I'm very sad to have gotten the news of Teresa's passing Sunday night from my mother. They were prayer buddies and friends. Teresa always treated me with such kindness and love. I will miss her and her infectious smile.
Mrs Novick always had encouraging words for me each time I spoke with her. She always shared her faith in actions. She will be so missed. Love to the Novick family who I respect so much!!
