OBITUARY
Thomas Maher Long (Tommy) passed away January 15th, 2025. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 9th, 1960. To the late William J. Long Jr. and Elenor T (Maher) Long. Tommy attended Wappingers Central Schools. Graduating from Roy C Ketcham HS in 1979. He attended Dutchess Community College for a short period of time before joining Ironworkers Union Local 417 in Newburgh, NY. Tommy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting the Jersey Shore at Point Pleasant Beach and Seaside Heights, NJ. He was an avid NY sports fan of the Mets and Jets. Survivors, include his Daughter Felicia Ann Long (Dan) and Granddaughter Mina and Dan's son Chace: Brother James V Long of Warner Robins, GA He was predeceased by his Brother Kevin F Long (1987) Mother Eleanor(1992) Father William J Long Jr(2001) Brother William J Long III(2014) Daniel P Long(2020). A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th, 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St. Wappinger Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 10:00am at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 11 Clinton St. Wappinger Falls, NY. A burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow, 19 Clinton St. Wappinger Falls, NY.
