1962 - 2022

OBITUARY

Virginia M. McPhee of Poughkeepsie, NY worked in the service industry for 20+ years, working at local establishments such as Di Nino’s in Wappingers Falls NY, and was loved by many. Known to all as “Virgi” or “Virg”, the lifelong resident of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2022.

The daughter of the late Mary Crimmins-Winter, Virginia was born on January 18th, 1962 at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

Virg loved to decorate for all holidays, with Halloween being her favorite. She always had a smile on her face no matter what she was faced with. A caring, kind, and very generous woman, Virginia was dearly loved by all who knew her. Her smile lit up a room, and her voice and laugh were one of a kind; if you heard it once you’d remember it. She will be deeply missed by all. May our dearly beloved mother, sister, and friend rest in peace.

She is survived by the loves of her life, daughters Katherine M. Bernal and Marianna R. Bernal. She is also survived by Richard Bernal and brother Donald McPhee.

The family would like to thank her best friend Colleen Barberan who was by her side through thick and thin throughout their longtime friendship.
